Silence

You know when you're at a party and no one is talking? Isn't that awkward? On the mission we were taught not to be afraid of silence but this is a different. So somebody has to break the silence. And that person has to keep the conversation going so he ends up talking a lot and everyone gets bored. And then when he stops talking everyone just kind of sits and looks at him. So you suggest something, but nobody really goes on with the idea. It'd be like me putting a bunch of dots . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  . . . . . . .  . . . . . .  . . .  . . . . ................................................................................................................................................................

Life

Almost everyone agrees that life is difficult. I don't. M. Scott Peck does. My question is, when we say life is difficult, what are we comparing it to? Other people's lives? Certainly sometimes we do, but that doesn't get us very far in life, and then we read the story of Job and stop feeling sorry for ourselves. Our childhood? I wouldn't think so because almost everybody would prefer to be where they are at now in life than where they were as a child. Perhaps life is more difficult now than a child but we must enjoy it more, because we'd rather be here than there. So when we say, "life is difficult" we mean, "life is enjoyable."
